Solutions to technical problems is what makes our Design Team at Morco stand out from the crowd. In this case the challenge was to fit Wedge shaped awnings, which are fundamentally made up of straight lines, to a curved building facia. The solution was to be found in our RIB® system of canopy manufacture and the investment we have made in installing a CAD controlled forming machine which enables us to stretch and bend aluminium profiles into curved shapes for this very purpose.

After careful site survey and the accurate making of a template a mathematical formula was calculated and input into the CAD programme whereupon the factory were able to create the precise arc of profile needed to ensure the canopies would fit to this unusual building.

The neat result seen here on the Dexters canopies belies entirely the sophistication when has gone into the making and installing of these canopies and the customer was suitably impressed that such a result could actually have been achieved.
