Awning renovation for Daphne's of Chelsea

Renovating awnings and blinds is a key service we offer at Morco which enables our customers to extend and enjoy the benefits of their investment at a fraction of the cost of complete awning replacement. Our years of experience in the trade means that we are able to refurbish blinds and awnings of all types, even when the particular model has been discontinued. In the case of these two Victorian awnings at Daphne's , despite the design being over 150 years old traditional skills have enabled us to replace the awning fabric in a fresh beige colour just in time for the lawn tennis championships. The valances scalloped in traditional style have been decorated with Daphne's fine text graphic applied through the use of our bespoke RAGS® branding process.

This Italian restaurant, bar and conservatory (private room) are vibrant and inviting and have been designed with the colour palettes of Italy firmly in mind. The elegant surroundings of the Daphne’s conservatory can accommodate up to 40 guests for a private lunch or dinner, or up to 50 for a standing cocktail reception with especially created seasonal menus for any private event.

Chelsea gets its name from the Old English term for "landing place [on the river] for chalk or limestone"  The first record of the Manor of Chelsea precedes the Domesday Book and records the fact that Thurstan, governor of the King's Palace during the reign of Edward the Confessor.
