Classic awning at Hanover Square

15 Feb 2019

A significant benefit of the Classic commercial awning is the robust design and construction. Ably demonstrated by this large awning at the new Nathalie restaurant in Hanover Square, with a  width of over 7.5 metres and an arm extension of 2.5 metres. Only an awning of the strength of the Classic is up to the job. Electrically operated and decorated using our bespoke RAGS® graphics application process the overall appearance is strikingly effective. When retracted, the Classic awning is sealed within a protective hood preventing traffic grime and general pollution from soiling the leading edge of the cover. The Classic is one of our most popular awnings incorporating a powder coated aluminium framework which can be specified in any RAL colour.

Nathalie is the third London take-away from the Chilean-born investment banker-cum-restaurateur, Juan Santa Cruz. This new outlet, in Hanover Square, offers breakfast and lunch portions of the day. The inspiration for Nathalie comes from a desire to offer food which is both healthy and easily transportable to the office which Cruz, in his previous life, struggled with while working on Wall Street.

Hanover Square was developed from 1713 as a fashionable residential address by the soldier and statesman, Richard Lumley, 1st Earl of Scarborough. Early residents included Generals Earl Cadogan, Sir Charles Wills, Stewart, Evans, Lord Carpenter and John Pepper.
