Hand painted copper graphic at The Alchemist, Leeds

The Greenwich awnings at this site are remarkable for the application of special, hand applied, copper paint which reflects the copper theme of the interior of this rather unusual restaurant/cocktail bar. Whilst, here at Morco, we are rightly proud of our RAGS® digital branding process our skilled artists retain all the traditional skills of the sign writer which enables them to take on unusual tasks such at this. The clean lines of the Greenwich awnings are further enhanced by the way we have managed to extend the graphic on to the front profile by wrapping the cloth around it thereby creating the almost magical effect of there being no profile at all.

Originally opened in Trinity, Leeds, in 2010 The Alchemist has doubled its presence by the opening of this stunning new location on Greek Street in the heart of the business centre of the city. The dramatic entrance, on to which the awnings have been installed,  features copper panels, cascading lighting and a grand entrance which does not fail to attract attention.
