Morco RIB® canopies, a truly innovative design.

Canopies, including Dutch canopies, Entrance canopies, Wedge canopies and Eyelid canopies have been popular in the UK  for some years.  This type of canopy has been manufactured here in the UK and across Europe from lightweight aluminium profiles with joining pieces from plastic or reinforced glass fibre. The covers are generally stapled to PVC inserts , which can allow the fabric to creep. The canopy joining sections are then covered with a split PVC coloured tape which frequently collects dust and dirt and can become detached.

With the Morco RIB® system all these plastic parts are dispensed with and the covers are fixed directly to sturdy aluminium sections of our own design which also completely eliminates the need for unsightly plastic strips. The consequence of this is to present a smooth unfettered appearance to the canopy. The canopy then can  maximise graphics opportunities and eliminate the accumulation of dusts and dirt along the segment edges.

The Morco RIB® system of canopy construction is a 100% British innovation and all manufacture is carried out in our London Factory which also contains a bespoke powder coating plant which enables clients to specify matching framework with any of our 300 fabrics colourway choices.  Morco exclusive RAGS® branding system can also be used to add that final touch.
