6 Jun 2019

Panel Canopies, of the type installed here at Luis & Cos in Hastings Street, King's Cross, are a stylish, contemporary solution for shop fronts which do not have suitable fixings for standard canopies. They present a bold branding opportunity ideal, as here, to highlight the entrance to the for all types of high street outlets. The slim profile is at a fixed angle  but an additional valance can be specified as an option. A huge range of fabrics are available and the metal framework work can be powder coated to match any RAL colour. A panel proves a popular choice for architects or design studios for projects where branding is key. The crisp lines and sharp branding possibilities make it a perfect three dimensional signage  solution for shopping malls. On this particular Panel canopy the client branding has been created through the use of our bespoke RAGS® application process

The name Luis & Cos is formed from the middle names of the founders Petros Cos Mairoudhiou and Juan Luis Gosp. The  duo have been called upon by the media for their expert knowledge and  have featured in magazine shoots and have styled at London Fashion Week. In addition, both have been recognised by the industry winning  a number of accolades including L’Oreal Men’s Image Award, L’Oreal Colour Trophy London winner and Creative Head Hair Trend winner.

The current name of the King's Cross area has its origin in a monument to King George IV which stood from 1830 to 1845 at "the king's crossroads" The statue itself, which cost no more than £25; it was an unpopular building subsequently demolished in 1845, though the area kept the name of Kings Cross.
