The Good Life Awning

PVC cover to the awning at The Good Life

11 Mar 2019

Unusually, this traditional Victorian awning, installed at the popular Good Life Eatery  in Notting Hill, has not been installed in our usual awning fabric but in a specially commissioned PVC coated material. However, the awning cover has still been decorated with the client branding using our bespoke RAGS® graphic application process but, of special note, is the logo to the left of the valance. Close examination of this logo will show how detailed is the subject. Conventional sign writing would have been virtually impossible without our RAGS® system or would have been prohibitively expensive.  The awning boxes have been brightly painted in the yellow to match the tiles with which the establishment is associated and which contrasts markedly with the traditional black of the metal work.

“The simpler the better" is the mantra of The Good Life Cafe which has its latest branch in Notting Hill.. From the perspective of food, customers  are not going to eat something that is bright green and sludgy. Some health food doesn’t compete in the taste stakes at all. They are more concerned with the nutritional content. At the Good Life taste has been at the forefront of the menu selection and is a popular venue for the Health concious person who wants some bite with their lunch.

Blenheim Crescent was, for a brief moment in the 1930's the headline location in all newspapers due to the murder of a young resident of the street whose body was discovered on nearby wasteland in Addison Road. After months of investigation a suspect was charged but acquitted at trial, so the case remains unsolved to this very day.
