SQ2 awnings for the exclusive new FOPE boutique at Old Bond Street.

Recessed SQ2 commercial awnings by Morco are unique amongst recessed awning and is the only awning its type to be found anywhere. The particularly unique feature of the SQ2 commercial awning is that the awning front profile has been designed, in our London workshop, to offer seamless retraction into the building façade. This is of particular interest to designers of prestige establishments, such as this one at Old Bond Street, where nothing was to be permitted to conflict with the smooth outline of the building.  The awnings are remotely controlled by a wireless system and can be monitored from a central control. The photograph of the awnings in their retracted position shows quite clearly how the awnings are so well recessed as to be virtually invisible.

The FOPE collections are known for their signature gold mesh chain which makes each piece of jewellery stand out thanks to a unique take to everyday luxury. The new Old Bond Street shop showcases a fantastic selection of FOPE creations in a unique environment which balances Italian design from the 50s and references to the genius loci. Italian style meets British capital, so expect white stuccos and sharp lines, wooden floors and soft tones of green, for a perfect representation of FOPE’s distinctive brand colour palette and new brand image. The boutique has been designed by renowned Italian architect Flavio Albanese and his Asastudio which are behind the Venice shop as well.
