SQ2 awnings installed at The Alchemist, Nine Elms

An alchemist is a person trying to change base metals into gold or silver. In different cultures, the meaning is expanded to someone using elements found in nature to create medicine or a "cure-all elixir" However, our SQ2 awning, as installed here at The Alchemist in nine Elms, has no pretence at all other than to be the very best recessed awning on the market. Manufactured by us in our London Factory the SQ2 awning has a bespoke front profile which retracts completely flush with the shopfront. This is a unique feature of the Morco SQ2 recessed awning and is not available with other similar systems. The installation seen here at also features a graphic applied, using our RAGS branding process, to the front profile further enhancing this distinctive feature.

The Alchemist has both indoor and outdoor seating and offers an immersive theatre experience which celebrates mixology and creative cocktails in many forms for a great drinking and dining destination for the residents and visitors to Nine Elms.

Nine Elms Lane was named from a row of elm trees bordering the road, though a path probably existed between York House and Vauxhall in the 1700s. As recently as the 19th Century Nine Elms was a swampy area frequently flooded by the over flowing river Thames.
