Victorian awning for Laxsa Restaurant

11 Nov 2019

This Victorian awning, which we have recently installed at Laxsa Malaysian Restaurant, is distinguished by the detailed and complex branding which we have applied to the green awning cover through the use of our bespoke RAGS® graphics branding process which ensures clear, long lasting, graphics of particularly high definition. The traditional awning box has been hand painted and the timber itself is from environmentally correctly sourced hardwoods which ensure the awning has a long lifespan of use.  As is our custom, the awning arms have been powder coated by our in house coating department for a robust finish.

Laxsa Soho, is a Malaysian Restaurant located in the heart of the West End, it is the place to experience true Malaysian food in London. The railway theme of the restaurant is a nostalgic reminder of the railway market where the Chefs would originally source their fresh ingredients in Kebun Teh.

Old Compton Street  was named after Henry Compton who raised funds for a local parish church, eventually dedicated as St Anne's Church in the late seventeenth century. The area in general and this street in particular became the home of Huguenots, French Protestant refugees who were given asylum in England by Charles II in 1681.
