Victorian awnings at The Chambers Folkestone

These three Victorian awnings have been installed on the corner site at The Chambers in Folkestone. The unusual nature of the building has dictated that the awnings are installed at different heights but this gives the overall appearance a very striking aspect. The Victorian awnings are constructed, as always, using the finest seasoned, harvested, hardwoods and are painted with an environmentally friendly water based paint. All metal parts are formed in our own works and powder coated in house. The Chambers branding has been applied using the unique RAGS®  system.

The Chambers can be found on the corner of  Sandgate Rd & Cheriton Place in the historic  seaside town of Folkestone; it is one of Folkestone's longest established social and music venues. On the ground floor is a  Coffee Shop & basement bar & upstairs is an Anglo-Mexican restaurant.

Aside from its obvious history as a harbour and seaside town, Folkestone also has a significant cultural base. An annual Chamber Music Festival is held each May curated by the Sacconi Quartet. The festival is based in the town's 13th century Parish Church of St Mary and St Eanswythe in the Bayle.
