A World First in Canopy Design for Bond Street Hotel

The Bond Street Hotel (formerly the Berkshire) had a particularly unattractive steel canopy around the exterior and our Designers were charged with creating a new canopy which concealed the old features and presented an appearance more in keeping with this luxury hotel.

The solution was to use our RIB® system of canopy construction to create a bespoke aluminium frame onto which a tensioned fabric cover was secured. A detailed, accurate, site survey was carried out by our technical department and the design specifics were created by us using a sophisticated CAD Graphics. This was presented to the client as visual and, after acceptance, manufacture and installation was carried out with the stunning result depicted in these images.
